The MQ Bull Bear Flag indicator doesn’t appear to be working on NT8. How can I fix that?..

There are two known issues with the NT8 version of MQ Bull Bear Flags. Please see the workarounds for them in the following paragraphs:

1. I don’t see any Bull Bear Flag Dots. Is it working?

The NT8 version of the MQ Bull Bear Flag indicator has been shipped with the input, HistoryBars, set to 5. It should be set to 0 to display all past and current bull and bear flag dots.

Background / Explanation: The input, HistoryBars, is intended to show only a specified number of bars’ bull and bear flag dots. If it’s set to 5, then only the most recent 5 bars’ bull and bear flag dots will be shown. If there are no bull and bear flag dots appearing in the last 5 bars, then it appears that the indicator isn’t working. HistoryBars should be defaulted to 0, which tells the indicator to not limit the display of bull bear flag dots, and will show them when active for all bars. So setting HistoryBars to 0 should make the dots appear across all bars.

2. The Bull and Bear flag dots are sometimes appearing inside of bars rather than above/below them. How can I fix that?

This is something that will be addressed in a future release. A workaround in the meantime is to change the DotSpace input to something larger than 0. This will create an offset between the bar extreme and the location of the dot. You can experiment with what might work best, but often a value between 3 and 7 works well.
