TradeStation uses your Customer Number to authenticate users to purchased studies. When you download a BCT study, you want to make sure you’re giving the correct Customer Number. Remember that your Customer Number only has numbers, no letters or other characters.
Many people struggle to enter the correct Customer Number. The easiest way to get it is to use the Help/About menu. It’s clearly identifiable with the words, “Customer Number:” right before it. It’s shown in a red outline in the image, below. To help assure you’re entering the number correctly, you can copy it from the About TradeStation dialog box. Just double-click on the number to select it, then use CTRL+C or Right-Click/Copy to put the number in your paste buffer. Then you can paste it into the authorization box on the BCT Indicator Download page by using CTRL+V or Right-Click/Paste.
